YMCA Shining Star
Lee “Casey” White of Sandwich is the West Branch Shinning Star! Casey has been a member for over three years. He is a wonderful and supportive friend. While at the YMCA, Casey can be seen walking, stretching, riding the bike, or lifting. Casey likes all the members, who he says are very personal. Casey enjoys the West Branch because it is clean and close to home.

Casey lives with his wife, who works at Enterprise Cars. Casey is a retired meat cutter. The YMCA has helped Casey to be more aware of himself and have more confidence. His main motivation for working out is to stay healthy and strong.

Since working out at the West Branch, Casey has a better attitude and is more alert. Casey loves to enjoy ribs, steaks and fruits and vegetables. You will know when you run into Casey because you will hear him say “Hey, Hey, Hey” and then see his dazzling smile.

The YMCA would also like to thank Casey for taking care of good friend and YMCA member, John. John recently lost his mode of transportation and Casey has been helpful in getting him to and from the YMCA. Members like Casey improve our YMCA and our community!

Employee of the Month
Zina Schneider is our Star this month. Zina teaches group exercise classes and is very talented at all she does. Zina loves the members at the West Branch and says “You guys Rock!”

Zina and her husband just celebrated their 16^th wedding anniversary. She has a daughter Teiah, 15, and a son Dexter, 24. Dexter and his wife Lacey have two children, Trynity, 5 and Madisyn, 2. The family loves to go boating, wakeboarding, and dirt biking. Zina’s motto is “Believe in yourself!” Zina feels working at the YMCA has given her more confidence and she loves the fact that she has an opportunity to help others. She especially likes the friendships she has gained through teaching at the YMCA.

Zina recently lost her father and credits teaching as helping keep her out of a deep depression. She is much happier teaching. She has been an inspiration to our members. Thanks for all your hard work!

Kids Zone Star of the Month

Sam Dawson

Sam was born December 5^th to Danielle and Denver Dawson and is a younger brother to Maddie and grandson to Poppie. Sam is a delightful and polite child who is so much fun to have in Kids Zone.
