Housekeeping
-The YMCA
is hiring female and male staff to work in our Janitorial Departments.
Individuals are needed
at
Plano YMCA and Sandwich
YMCA. Plano YMCA hours are weekend and Sandwich YMCA are
evenings two days a week. Membership to
YMCA is included. Staff must be able to work without direct
supervision, be attentive to detail, and a
self-starter. CPR certification is required, but can be taken at the
YMCA
for a
minimal fee. Please

Sports Department
-Part-time Youth & Adult Sports Instructors/Supervisors needed weekdays Mon.-Thurs. 3-7pm, Sat.
7:30am-3pm, and/or multiple days per week from 6-10pm. Candidates must possess experience and
knowledge in multiple sports and must have a reliable source of transportation. Within 90 days of hire the
candidate must complete CPR/First Aid and a New Employee Orientation. Specific Responsibilities: Instruct
youth participants on sports skills and game play, educate youth participants and family on healthy lifestyle
principals including: safety in sports, overexertion during exercise and safe exercising, importance of
stretching, flexibility, warm-up and cool-down, healthy and nutritional eating habits, and healthy social
interaction among peers. Also must be attentive to children and their needs; be an active participant in games
as necessary, create daily lesson plans for youth sports and fitness in order to keep timely and organized
class sessions, provide fair instruction to all participants that is non-discriminating regardless of skill level or
athletic ability, set an example to children by following all rules and guidelines in and out of the designated
