The Fox Valley Family YMCA hosted our FREE 17th annual Healthy Kids Day on April 26, 2008 from 1-3pm and we had a great turn out! Many local service providers attended to discuss the services available to the community. Each department of our YMCA was represented with information about classes and programs.
Free hot dogs and smoothies were available as well as many games for the children to enjoy. A few of the favorites were the Bounce House, Hoop It Up, Tic Tac Toe, Face Painting, and the Art's Department Paining project. Special program promotions and give-a-ways were offered throughout the afternoon. Gymnastics, Dance, Choir, and Karate all gave entertaining demonstrations. If you did not get the chance to participate in 2008, make sure you get involved in 2009!
